Disneyland France — You wait for one new Disney princess meet ‘n’ greet and then two come at once. Alongside Anna and Elsa from Frozen, making their first appearance at Disneyland Paris outside of the daily parade, the upcoming Disney’s Enchanted Christmas season will also see the premiere of fiery-haired Merida from Pixar’s Brave.
Confirmed in a French press release and on the official website, the 3 princesses will make their meet ‘n’ greet debuts at the resort from 9th November 2014.

Finally, apparently the Disneyland’s Facilities department felt bad about us having so many more benches than WDW, and how much Tony dislikes that. Over the past couple of weeks, the Sleeping Beauty castle drawbridge has been rebuilt and some changes to the bridge leading up to it have been made. A rustic wooden fence and wrought iron bars have replaced the series of crisscrossing chains and shields. Along the bridge leading up to the drawbridge, workers have removed the seats in each of the six alcoves. Speculation is that the purpose of the changes is to prevent guests from slipping through the chains, or maybe to prevent falling over the bridge from atop the seats. Reports are coming in that Disneyland’s safety department has plans to add an eight-inch railing extension to the bridge. It’s worth noting that these supposed “safety improvements” are not in response to any known incident or inspections. Instead, they are reportedly voluntary to prevent what management may see as a liability.
