• D23 Day at Disneyland Resort (August 13) officially kicks off D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event with free Mickey ear hats, exclusive entertainment, rare character appearances, PhotoPass perks, limited-edition merchandise, specialty food, and the debut of the Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration.
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios has opened its reimagined Animation Courtyard, featuring new attractions like Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, Drawn to Wonderland, Olaf Draws!, and The Magic of Disney Animation, opening September 14.

• A new Haunted Mansion Hatbox Ghost Popcorn Bucket arrives at Disneyland on August 13 for D23 Day. The collectible will be available while supplies last, with a limit of two per guest.

• Disney is reportedly developing a live-action Tiana movie, but instead of remaking The Princess and the Frog, the film will tell a brand-new story centered on Tiana’s life after the original movie. The project is in early development with no cast or release date announced.
