Why Epcot is Orlando’s worst theme park

June 13, 2018 By Tony Caselnova

An unpopular opinion

I can’t tell you about my first trip to Epcot because I don’t remember it; nor does any individual trip I’ve ever taken to Epcot stand out in my mind. What I remember about my pre-postgrad days at Epcot are: rides on Horizons and being able to choose your ending (I always went with space). Walking in, and always starting with Spaceship Earth; walking out, and finding our picture on the boulders. My rides on Body Wars, the best motion simulator Disney has made to date (in my opinion). Being lifted over the barrier around Mission Space by my Dad so that I could get a clear visual of the beautiful building façade. To me, Epcot has been a toe touch park; you plan when you’re going to leave before you even get in.

5 Tips to Beat the Crowds at Disneyland

June 11, 2018 By Tony Caselnova

Disneyland is known as a locals park. I have heard estimates of around 1 million Annual Passholders for the Disneyland Resort.  AP’s visit the park daily and the streets are crowded and lines are long. AP’s love the parades and fireworks. They line up with their blankets, board games, cards, and iPads to pass the time while the wait for hours on the curb. AP’s love to see openings or re-openings first or be the last ones to ride if the ride is closing.  They will line up outside the gates early to be the first to see the new ride, show, or parade!  Some Disneyland Facebook groups having running jokes on how crowded it will be.  The real answer is: Disneyland is ALWAYS crowded! But, I have a few tips on how to beat those crowds and enjoy your day or your vacation at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Info: 5 Tips for Traveling Disney World with Your Teenagers

May 31, 2018 By Tony Caselnova

I have been going to Disney World ever since I was 10 days old. Seriously, my parents brought me to Magic Kingdom a week and a half after I was born. I lived through 17 Food and Wine Festivals, the relocation of the Dumbo ride, and even the dawn of MagicBands. I’ve seen countless moms scouring Pinterest, looking for tips on traveling the parks with their 4 year old in hand. However, traveling WDW with teenagers is a bit trickier. As a teenager myself, I know exactly how to take your trip to the next level with your family.

Why Dinosaur is better than Indiana Jones Adventure

An unpopular opinion

Every disagreement starts simply enough. You state an opinion, someone else counters that opinion and you both offer up points until someone relents or both agree to disagree. But what happens when you’re in a group and EVERYONE disagrees with you…even when you’re right? Like when an argument arises that we use 10% of our brain and your group agrees? It’s easy enough to breakout your phone, go to Google and show them that 90% of our brain is NOT inactive.

NEWS: Permits Filed to Clear Land at Probable Star Wars Hotel Location

April 4, 2018 By Tony Caselnova

A permit was filed today with the South Florida Water Management District for “Project H” to clear the land of vegetation and stockpile fill. While we don’t yet know what “Project H” is, the site specified in the permit is directly adjacent to the new Star Wars land under construction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This site (shown in green) is a 9.5 acre plot of land directly across the entrance road from the show buildings being erected in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and is a likely spot for the location of the new Star Wars hotel.

The site is directly south of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and would be just below the show buildings shown in this construction photo.
