In the fall, one BoardWalk eatery plans to introduce a breakfast menu for a limited time.
From October 1 to December 7, 2014, Flying Fish Cafe at Disney’s BoardWalk will offer a breakfast menu to patrons.
The breakfast introduction coincides with the September 30 closing of Kouzzina by Kat Cora, a fellow BoardWalk restaurant which is currently the only Table Service restaurant in the area serving breakfast.
Advance Dining Reservations are not currently being offered during breakfast hours at Flying Fish Cafe.
Trattoria al Forno
A “trattoria” is an Italian restaurant serving simple food, and “al forno” is Italian for “food baked in an oven,” and this new spot will showcase Old World techniques, including handcrafted mozzarella made daily, cavatelli (small dumpling-shaped pasta) and a variety of Neopolitan-style pizzas baked in wood-burning ovens. Neopolitan pizzas, by the way, are pizzas in the classic style of Naples, Italy, with simple tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella.
A beautiful Italian flywheel slicer slices paper-thin Italian meats, served with a variety of olives and caponata. Satisfying pastas, velvety seasonal risottos and fresh seafood and vegetables will celebrate the delectable diversity of Italian cuisine with authentic ingredients and recipes from Italy’s various regions.
Wines will be 100 percent Italian from historic wine regions including Tuscany, Veneto and Piedmont, with over 60 offerings by the bottle and more than 25 wines by the glass – Chiantis, Super Tuscans and fine Italian white wines such as Prosecco, Pinot Grigio and Moscato. Signature cocktails and Italian beers and sodas round out the drink menu, with a signature-blend Italian coffee roasted just for Trattoria al forno.

More Downtown Disney Construction
Buena Vista Drive will have a reduced speed limit of 35mph and will be operating a reduced number of lanes in various sections. The restrictions will be taking place from Bonnet Creek Parkway to Hotel Plaza Boulevard.
Also expect changes to the entry and exit to Downtown Disney parking. It is expected that only entrances 2 and 5 will be available, which are the turns located opposite Typhoon Lagoon and the Hess Station.
Parking Lot L, which is located behind La Nouba, on the side nearest Disney Quest, will also be partially closed temporarily during July 2014.
The work taking place on Buena Vista Drive will eventually see the road expanded to 10 lanes, with dedicated bus lanes and two pedestrian bridges.

Among the narrators announced for 2014 are The Little Mermaid’s Jodi Benson, Ana Gasteyer and Sharon Stone.
While admission to the Candlelight Processional is guaranteed, seating is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
